Description
Pale salmon colour, with a slight cloudiness characteristic of this naturally sparkling wine (pétillant naturel or pet nat) which is made by bottling the wine before primary fermentation is complete, allowing it to finish fermenting in the bottle, one of the oldest methods of making sparkling wine also known as ancestral method.
It has fine and delicate bubbles, less persistent than in a traditional sparkling wine. Crisp red fruits such as strawberry, raspberry, redcurrant and subtle floral notes with bready notes. Very fresh, with vibrant acidity. Light body and dry or slightly off-dry profile (or slightly off-dry, depending on the batch). Short to medium finish, refreshing and easy to drink.
