If you are new to Portuguese wines why not sample a case of wines from the different regions of Portugal ?

As an introductory offer to celebrate the launch of our new website we are pleased to
offer six wines which illustrate the wonderful diversity of flavours and terroirs that this amazing
country has to offer !

Sample spritzy Alvarinho and Loureiro from verdant Vinho Verde region in the north to the searing
heat of Tras-os- montes and Douro valley with intense berry fruit flavoured wines and then down to
the pine clad slopes of Dao region and the elegant wines of Casa de Darei – Finally the rolling plains
of Alentejo with its ripe generous fruit flavours.

Description

Casa de Senra – Vinho verde

Floral, ripe juicy peach and apple flavours (featured in Observer 20 Best Summer Wines June 2014)
Fabulous as an aperitif or with salads and cold meats !

Moscatel Gallego Branco – Douro

Fresh aromatic wine with intense, ripe tropical fruit and mineral flavours balanced with refreshing

acidity and a persistent finish. Wonderful with salmon, scallops and Asian cuisine.

Quinta Sobreiro de Cima – Tras-os- montes

Deep ruby colour with floral and herby aromas and flavours of mature fruit. Fabulous with

casseroles and risottos.

Aneto Tinto – Douro

Floral and vanilla aroma, intense blackberry fruit, with coffee and spice flavours and a long, soft and

delicate finish. Delicious with game and veal dishes, dried sausage and cheese.

Casa de Darei – Dao

Retaining the lovely red fruit flavours with a wonderful savoury finish this wine is the perfect

accompaniment to grilled meats !

Visconde de Borba – Alentejo

An elegant wine with smooth floral aromas and raspberry fruit. Soft but full bodied with a balanced

acidity and smooth finish. Enjoy on its own or with a cheese platter.
